In the books he is found at the station in London, coming from "deepest, darkest Peru" and with a note attached to his coat reading "please look after this bear, thank you". Technically, Knightsbridge runs along the bottom of Hyde Park, from its east corner to Queen's Gate, and south to Brompton Road. But in the general imagination it figures larger, partly because it is often included with parts of Brompton and Belgravia, partly because there is so much conspicuous wealth. It has the most expensive real estate in the country. Flats in a new development designed by Richard Rogers at One Hyde Park cost tens of millions of pounds. For some of the area's residents, who include jet-setting footballers, sheikhs, hedge fund millionaires and celebrities in their ranks, Harrods is the local corner shop.

It was not always so. For centuries, the area was renowned as the haunt of highwaymen. It's major transformation came relatively late in the day, in the 19th century, with the 1851 Great Exhibition in Hyde Park triggering substantial development. Harrods itself was a direct result, as were the cultural and educational institutions around Exhibition Road. If you like upmarket shopping, you'll be in seventh heaven. This is Ab Fab territory.

Harvey Nichols reigns supreme opposite Knightsbridge Tube, from where you can complete a neat triangle, heading down Sloane Street where all the big British and European designers have shops, turning right into Pont Street, in order to hit the boutiques and restaurants (anything from Portuguese to Persian) of Beauchamp Place, then right on to Brompton Road, where many will want to dive into Burberry, that trademark of stylish outdoor British clothing. The renowned shoe designers Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik are based here, along with flagship stores of luxury brands such as Chanel and Cartier. Coutts, bankers to the Queen, are also part of this exclusive neighbourhood. The area is the perfect place to rub shoulders with celebrities with its chic stores and air of wealth and affluence. Home to some of Britain's aristocracy,

Knightsbridge is also a great cultural venue with museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the Serpentine Gallery. Catch concerts of classical and popular music at Cadogan Hall in Sloane Street or the Royal Albert Hall; for connoisseurs of fine art there is Bonhams, Christie's, Kalman and countless other galleries.. The area is also a premier international business location, which benefits from its proximity to the West End and is within easy reach of the City of London and Canary Wharf. In recent years Knightsbridge has seen a major security-related overhaul due to the continuing inftux of multimillionaire residents and is now a heavily protected area.

The Royal Parks of London make the city what it is today, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Although they are open to the public they are not public property. As their umbrella name suggests they belong to the Royal family. Hundreds of years ago, these parks were used as royal hunting grounds, and some, like Richmond Park, still contain grazing deer. These days, the public enjoys long lazy Sundays relaxing and enjoying the entertainment on offers at the parks during the delicious summer months.

Green Park

Every year, events are staged at these parks to celebrate London's rich cultural heritage and 2009 is no exception.  Green Park is situated close to Buckingham palace and is where the gun salute by the King's Troops takes place to invite the public to celebrate the Queen's birthday on the 21st of April.

The park ground's esteemed status was not always so, as before Henry the VIII turned it into a royal hunting ground it was a burial ground for lepers. In the 18th century, the park changed its image and became famous as the place that staged Handel's music composed for the grand fireworks display. This year is the 260th anniversary of the event and a guided tour was organised for the 27th of April in celebration.  Another walking tour is offered in the park in July, when royalists can enjoy walking the routes taken by past Kings and Queens.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the most famous Royal Parks of London and boasts a more hardcore line-up of entertainment and events, such as concerts by Blur, the Killers and the Kooks in the months of June and July. Rock fans can enjoy the Serpentine Lake that divides the park in two while watching their favourite bands. After the concert, they may want to express their views of the bands' performances by standing on a soap box at the famous Speaker's corner. Tickets for the Sunday's performance at the end of June by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Dave Matthews Band and The Gaslight Anthem are already completely sold out.

For those who missed the gun salute for the Queen's birthday, the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery will be giving another gun salute on the second of June. This time the celebration is for the anniversary of the Queen's coronation, which took place 56 years ago. For budding botanists, the guided tree walk takes place in the park on the 12th of June and the tour guides walks you through the park's unique trees with a discussion on the folklore that surrounds them.

Regent's park

Regent's park offers spectacular displays of fountains and flowers and also houses the famous London Zoo within its walls. Animal lovers will enjoy two walks on offer - the bird walk happening by day and the bat walk by night. The walks give the public an opportunity to spot the various species of birds and bats to which  the park is home. A 5km run is also on the cards to raise money for Cancer Research. The well-loved restaurant festival, the Taste of London, is being hosted by the Royal Parks of London this year between June 18 and 21. If you love food, this festival is beyond compare.

Surrounded by streets with a higher-than-average number of luxury and executive cars, Hyde Park is a large stretch of rolling greenery, especially when combined with Kensington Gardens, which it adjoins. How is Diana Memorial Walk - London Sightseeing Through Four Royal Parks

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Queen City Physicians Hyde Park.

This walk, together with the Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Playground, was officially opened on 30th June 2000 to celebrate the Princess's affection for the open spaces around her home in Kensington Palace.

It is a circular route so you can decide where you want to start and just pick a plaque along the route and follow the plaques round until you come back to the same plaque.

However, a good place to start would be from the bridge across the lake in St James's Park. Facing Birdcage Walk move forward across the bridge, turn left and walk round St James's Park Lake and exit St James's Park at the Birdcage Walk end. Turn right and follow the route to Queen Victoria Memorial and Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace is the Queens London residence and is used to receive and entertain guests on state, ceremonial and official occasions. During August and September while the Queen makes her annual visit to Balmoral, visitors can tour the nineteen State Rooms which form the heart of the Palace and the Queen's Gallery.

Move along Constitution Hill and use the pedestrian crossing to cross over to Wellington Arch. Wellington Arch, located at Hyde Park Corner, is a landmark for Londoners and visitors alike. This monument was moved here in 1882 and was originally commissioned as a grand outer entrance to Buckingham Palace.

If you take the lift to the balconies just below the amazing bronze sculpture you can have a panoramic view over London's Royal Parks, the Houses of Parliament and the Household Cavalry passing beneath to and from the Changing of the Guard.

This is the largest bronze sculpture in Europe and depicts the angel of peace descending on the chariot of war. Inside the Arch, there are three floors of exhibits of its fascinating history. Opposite the Wellington Arch in Hyde Park Corner, is Apsley House, the London home of the Duke of Wellington.

From Apsley Gate in Hyde Park Corner, follow the Diana Memorial Walk plaques into Hyde Park and you can see the statue of Achilles on the right. Continue walking along the Broad Walk parallel to Park Lane in the direction of Marble Arch.

Midway between Hyde Park Corner and Speakers' Corner turn left and follow the Diana Memorial Walk plaques. You will pass The Old Police House which is located in the middle of the Hyde Park.

Keep following the Diana Memorial Walk plaques until you come to the Long Water which is a continuation from the Serpentine. Carry on walking north until you reach the Italian Gardens and the fountains.

Turn left at the Italian Gardens and you are now in Kensington Gardens. Kensington Gardens is a beautiful Royal Park to the west of Hyde Park. Continue walking south along The Long Water until you see the statue of Peter Pan on the right.

Moving on south from the statue of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, follow the plaque and turn right and continue walking until you arrive at the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground. It is a good place to take a break and if you have kids with you let them spend a few minutes in the playground.

If you wish to take a longer break here, Queensway across the Bayswater Road has many good restaurants serving exotic food to satisfy almost everyone's palate.

After the break continue south along the Broad Walk until you see the statue of Queen Victoria on the right. The building in the background is Kensington Palace, the official residence of the late Princess Diana and where she brought up the young princes. Follow the plaque along the Broad Walk and turn left to Queens Gate and continue walking until you reach the Albert Memorial. This memorial was commissioned by Queen Victoria in memory of her beloved husband, Prince Albert who died of typhoid in 1861.

Opposite the Albert Memorial towards the south is the Royal Albert Hall - a popular music and entertainment venue in London. From the Albert Memorial, keep following the plaques until you reach the Serpentine. Walk along the Serpentine and you will arrive at the Diana Memorial Fountain. Keep walking until you arrive back at Apsley Gate in Hyde Park Corner.

Walk back to Constitution Hill via the Wellington Arch but this time bear left and follow the Diana Memorial Walk plaque into Green Park. The path runs parallel to Piccadilly and leads to Devonshire Gate. The Ritz is located on Piccadilly, a short walking distance away from Devonshire Gate.

Green Park has more mature trees and grassland. During the Queen's official birthday in June and at other times to mark state visits, 41 gun royal salutes are fired from Green Park.

From Devonshire Gate follow the plaques along the Broad Walk to Canada Gate. Canada Gate was part of the memorial to Queen Victoria, celebrating Canada's contribution to the then British Empire. You can once again see Queen Victoria Memorial and Buckingham Palace from Canada Gate.

From Canada Gate follow the plaques to The Mall. As you walk up The Mall you can see on your left St James's Palace, Clarence House and Spencer House, the former London town house of Diana's family. Cross The Mall and walk back to St James's Park and to the bridge to complete the Diana Memorial Walk.

Diana Memorial Walk is one of the more popular walks with the locals as well as with visitors. It covers four Royal Parks, three palaces, two mansions and lots of statues. Hope you have had a great time with this walk.

As the most populated city in the European Union, you might think they would use all of their available space to house people. London's Royal Parks, however, are 5,000 acres of historic parkland providing unparalleled opportunities for enjoyment. While London has many parks and open spaces, The Royal Parks are in prime locations, and are the largest on average.

What I said. It isn't outcome that the true about Queen City Physicians Hyde Park. You check this out article for information on an individual wish to know is Queen City Physicians Hyde Park.

How is The Royal Parks of London

We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Queen City Physicians Hyde Park.

There are five Royal Parks in Central London alone and eight altogether. Royal Parks are land once owned by the monarchy of England. These lands were once used for their enjoyment, mainly as hunting land, but as London became more populated, the lands were given over as freely accessible public parks. About 5,500 acres in total of Royal Parks are available in London.

Hyde Park is the most well known Royal Park, and one of the largest in Central London. It covers about 350 acres, and is divided by Serpentine Lake which is a haven for Ducks, Geese, and Swans at its North end. The Lake has a central bridge which marks the division between Hyde Park, and Kensington Gardens, another of the eight Royal Parks, slightly smaller than Hyde Park at 275 acres in area. Many people think Kensington Gardens are a part of Hyde Park, but that is not the case. This land was originally the private gardens of Kensington Palace.

Serpentine Lake is named for its snake like curves and has a swimming area known as Landsbury's Lido which will be host to the swimming portion of the triathlon for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The swimming area is only open in the summer, however over the past few decades a New Years Day tradition has been for a group of deranged individuals to break away any ice and submerge themselves in the freezing water. No one knows why. The lake has rowboats for hire, and also hosted the World Rowing Sprints over a 500 meter course in 2002. No motorized traffic is permitted around the lake, and that area is widely used by inline skaters, and there are grounds for other sports, formal and informal, around the shores of the lake.

Hyde Park puts on outdoor concerts with some big name bands in years past, such as The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. A 1976 "Queen" concert holds the attendance record with a crowd numbering 150,000 officially, although it estimates the real total was more like 180,000 to 200,000 in attendance.

Other Royal Parks in London include Bushy Park in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. At 1,100 acres it is the second largest Royal Park. A little farther from the centre of the city, but wildlife like Red Deer make it seem like further out in the countryside. Bushy Park is home to the National Physical Laboratory, The Royal Paddocks, and Bushy House. The D-Day Landings were planned here at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force was housed here in World War II, and Field Hockey was invented here in the late 1800's.

Green Park, or The Green Park, depending on who you ask, is centrally located near Hyde Park and has no water features. It was originally used as a swampy burial ground for Lepers from St. James Hospital prior to the 16th century. Today it makes up a swath of green space when combined with Hyde Park, and runs from Whitehall to Notting Hill. It is mainly wooded meadows, and supports wildlife and birds not normally found in this urban environment. The park is an escape in the city with activities like sunbathing and picnicking when weather permits. Walking and jogging trails are also popular in Green Park.

Greenwich Park is one of the largest continuous green areas in Southwest London. One of only 830 UNESCO World Heritage sites in the world, Greenwich Park is another Royal Park formerly used as hunting grounds. A World Heritage Site is listed by a body of 21 countries as being a place of great importance naturally or culturally that should be protected. The Royal Observatory is located here, and the hills provide breathtaking views of the River Thames, Isle of Dogs, and the City of London. Deer were introduced by Henry VIII for hunting, and a small herd is there to this day.

Regent's Park lies partly in Westminster, and partly in the borough of Camden. The park consists of 487 acres of open spaces. Regents Canal and another lake provide a home to waterfowl, including a heronry. Other amenities in the park are the London Zoo, Open Air Theatre, and The Royal Botanic Society. The park offers a wide range of sports facilities including Boating, Tennis, Cricket, Softball, Rounders, Football, Hockey, Ultimate Frisbee, and Rugby. The proximity of this Royal Park to five of the other Royal Parks in Central London make it appear to be one continuous park.

Richmond Park is not included with these, and is the largest Royal Park in London at 2,360 acres. Its wild life includes Red Deer, Fallow Deer, rabbits, and squirrels. Richmond Park is protected by its SSSI status (Site of Special Scientific Interest). The park has been the backdrop for at least two movies. 'Anne of The Thousand Days' was shot here in 1969. Parts of 'Billy Elliot' were also shot in Richmond Park.

St. James Park is only about 58 acres in area, and is the oldest Royal Park in London. The park is located in the City of Westminster. Beginning with James I's reign in 1603 the park was an open air zoo. Camels, Elephant, Crocodiles, and exotic birds were stocked in the park. None of these species thrived however, and wild Elephant and Crocodile sightings today are extremely rare in the park. Non-existent is probably more accurate, but you have to check to see if readers are paying attention every now and then!

Royal Parks are some of the best open spaces in the UK, and for many people they are an oasis in the urban desert.
