Green Park

Every year, events are staged at these parks to celebrate London's rich cultural heritage and 2009 is no exception.  Green Park is situated close to Buckingham palace and is where the gun salute by the King's Troops takes place to invite the public to celebrate the Queen's birthday on the 21st of April.

The park ground's esteemed status was not always so, as before Henry the VIII turned it into a royal hunting ground it was a burial ground for lepers. In the 18th century, the park changed its image and became famous as the place that staged Handel's music composed for the grand fireworks display. This year is the 260th anniversary of the event and a guided tour was organised for the 27th of April in celebration.  Another walking tour is offered in the park in July, when royalists can enjoy walking the routes taken by past Kings and Queens.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the most famous Royal Parks of London and boasts a more hardcore line-up of entertainment and events, such as concerts by Blur, the Killers and the Kooks in the months of June and July. Rock fans can enjoy the Serpentine Lake that divides the park in two while watching their favourite bands. After the concert, they may want to express their views of the bands' performances by standing on a soap box at the famous Speaker's corner. Tickets for the Sunday's performance at the end of June by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Dave Matthews Band and The Gaslight Anthem are already completely sold out.

For those who missed the gun salute for the Queen's birthday, the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery will be giving another gun salute on the second of June. This time the celebration is for the anniversary of the Queen's coronation, which took place 56 years ago. For budding botanists, the guided tree walk takes place in the park on the 12th of June and the tour guides walks you through the park's unique trees with a discussion on the folklore that surrounds them.

Regent's park

Regent's park offers spectacular displays of fountains and flowers and also houses the famous London Zoo within its walls. Animal lovers will enjoy two walks on offer - the bird walk happening by day and the bat walk by night. The walks give the public an opportunity to spot the various species of birds and bats to which  the park is home. A 5km run is also on the cards to raise money for Cancer Research. The well-loved restaurant festival, the Taste of London, is being hosted by the Royal Parks of London this year between June 18 and 21. If you love food, this festival is beyond compare.

Primary Care Doctors! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.

"What's the unlikeness in the middle of dementia and Alzheimer's?" It's a common question, and doctors are some of the best at confusing us. Physicians seem to prefer the word "dementia," maybe because Alzheimer's has come to be such a loaded word. "Dementia" somehow sounds less frightening to many people, and now even the experts have started using the words interchangeably.

What I said. It isn't the actual final outcome that the real about Primary Care Doctors. You check out this article for information on what you want to know is Primary Care Doctors.

They aren't interchangeable. Alzheimer's Disease and dementia are two very distinct things.

Dementia is a symptom. Pain is a symptom, and many distinct injuries and illnesses can cause pain. When you go to the doctor because you hurt, you won't be satisfied if the doctor diagnoses "pain" and sends you home. You want to know what is causing the pain, and how to treat it.

"Dementia" simply means the symptom of a deterioration of intellectual abilities resulting from an unspecified disease or disorder of the brain.

Alzheimer's Disease is one disease/disorder that causes dementia. Many other illnesses or "syndromes" can also cause dementia. Parkinson's Disease can cause dementia. A stroke can cause dementia. Even dehydration can cause dementia.

Many of the things that can cause dementia are treatable, even potentially curable.

If you have taken your elder to the doctor and received a prognosis of "dementia" you haven't received a prognosis at all. Unless you know what is causing the dementia you can't begin to treat it's root cause.

If your doctor has diagnosed "dementia" it's time for a second opinion. You are probably dealing either with a doctor who is not comfortable with the truth, or one who doesn't know how (or doesn't want to bother) to differentiate in the middle of all the inherent causes of dementia. either way, a skilled geriatrician or a neurologist who is comfortable with seniors would be a good place to start.
